1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Logik.tv (“Logik,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use Logik: Highlight Duplicates (the “Service”) for Google Sheets™.
By installing or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Access
When you use the Service, we may access the following information through Google APIs:
Google Sheets™ data
Content of the sheet(s) on which you run the Service (for example, names and email addresses in the selected columns).
Sheet structure such as ranges, formatting rules, and metadata.
Google account information
Basic profile info such as your display name and email address, as provided by Google, to identify the active user and associate actions with your account while the Service runs.
Operational and diagnostic data
Limited logs generated by Google Apps Script (e.g., timestamp, success/failure, error messages) to help us debug issues and improve reliability.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above solely to:
Detect duplicate values in your sheet according to your configuration.
Apply or update conditional formatting rules that visually highlight duplicates.
Provide a smooth and personalized in-sheet experience (for example, showing you which column is being analyzed).
Monitor the Service’s performance, troubleshoot errors, and improve functionality.
We do not use your spreadsheet content for advertising or for building marketing profiles.
4. Data Storage & Retention
The Service runs entirely on Google’s infrastructure (e.g., Google Apps Script) and operates directly on your Google Sheets™ data.
We do not copy or store your sheet contents on our own external servers or databases.
Any diagnostic logs generated within Apps Script are retained by Google according to their standard policies and may be accessible to us for a limited time to debug technical issues. These logs typically include technical information but not full spreadsheet contents.
If in the future we introduce optional cloud features that require additional storage, we will update this Privacy Policy and request any additional consent required.
