Last updated: [November 18, 2025]
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Logik: Highlight Duplicates (the “Service”), a tool that runs inside Google Sheets™ and helps you find and visually highlight duplicate values in a document.
The Service is operated by Logik.tv (“Logik,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you:
Are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), and
Have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
3. Description of the Service
Logik: Highlight Duplicates is a Google Sheets™ tool that:
Reads data from the active spreadsheet (for example, a column of names or email addresses).
Adds or updates conditional formatting rules that highlight rows containing duplicate values according to the settings you choose.
May read limited Google account information (such as your name and email address) as provided by Google to identify the active user and display relevant UI.
The Service does not change data in your sheet other than the formatting rules it creates or updates.
4. Your Responsibilities
When you use the Service, you agree to:
Use it only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure you have the right to process any data (including personal data) contained in your spreadsheets.
Not use the Service to store or process sensitive information where you do not have appropriate permissions or legal basis.
You are solely responsible for the content of your spreadsheets and for any consequences arising from the use of the Service on that content.
5. Access to Your Google Account & Data
To function, the Service requires certain permissions to your Google account and resources, including but not limited to:
Access to view and edit Google Sheets™ where you run the Service.
Access to basic profile information from your Google account (such as your display name and email address), as provided by Google.
The Service uses these permissions solely to:
Read data needed to detect duplicates and apply conditional formatting.
Write back conditional formatting rules and related configuration to your sheet.
Identify you as the current user while you are interacting with the tool.
We do not sell or rent your spreadsheet data or account information.
You can revoke the Service’s access at any time through your Google Account security settings.
6. Fees
At this time, the Service is provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or subscription plans in the future. If we do, we will provide advance notice and updated Terms.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all associated code, text, graphics, and design, is owned or licensed by Logik and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, Logik grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service solely within your own Google account or organization.
You may not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service (except where permitted by law).
Resell, sublicense, or distribute the Service to third parties.
Use Logik’s trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written permission.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on Google’s infrastructure and APIs, including Google Sheets™ and Google Workspace™. Your use of Google products is governed by Google’s own terms and policies, which are separate from these Terms.
We are not responsible for Google’s services, availability, or changes to their APIs that may impact the Service.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
The Service will detect all duplicates or be suitable for any specific use case.
Any particular formatting or data will be preserved in the event of software errors or changes in Google’s platform.

Logik and its owners, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in those cases, the above limitations may apply only to the extent permitted by law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Logik, its owners, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from:
Your use of the Service,
Your violation of these Terms, or
Your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
12. Changes to the Service and Terms
